CES 2021 had its usual collection of amazing smart tech but with an emphasis on safety and connectivity.

In addition to the latest smart home and smart city technical wonders, this year’s CES included a few unexpected entries – thanks to evolving artificial intelligence, miniaturized sensors, and wireless.
One such entry used AI to detect violent behavior in group gatherings via public cameras. Another smart device and its support systems enabled early warning of earthquakes before they happened. Still another provided more accurate and accessible information on energy usage.
