APEM Sealed Push-Pull Pushbutton Switch

APEM Components introduces the 13000series push-pullswitch. The switch requires approximately 5 lb of force to activate in both thepush and pull directions. The 13440 is designed for high-reliabilityapplications such as radio remote controls and is ideal for both military andindustrial applications.

The 13440 pushbutton switch features goldplated, solid silver contacts, a high strength double shell case and a fullysealed construction. Sealing features include an o-ring actuator seal, a panelsealing washer and epoxy sealed terminals. Available with both solder lug andprinted circuit terminals, the 13440 features a 15/32 inch mountingbushing.

Thelow profile construction of the 13440 makes it ideal for applications wherebehind-the-panel space is limited. Switch contacts are rated for low levelswitching and for resistive loads of up to 4 Amps at 24V dc. The total actuatortravel is.078 inches (2mm). The switch bushing and hardware are black chromeplated and the actuator dome is a red anodized aluminum.
