Gadget Freak of the Year: Did You Vote Yet?

There is less than a week left to vote in Round 1 of our second-annual Gadget Freak of the Year contest, sponsored by Allied Electronics.

Which project do you think deserves to move onto the final round? Will it be Marin Davide's DIY Flexible Display; William Grill's Billiards Ball Counter; Al Linke's Animated Weather LED Display; Eric Chesak's Peltier Thermopile Cloud Sensor; or Don Lutz's Motion-Controlled Blinking Eyes?

Round 1: Gadget Freak of the Year

Review the projects, watch the videos, and vote!

These five projects are currently neck and neck, so be sure to check them out and vote for your favorite today.

Round 2 voting starts Monday, Nov. 24. After four rounds of voting, we'll take the winners from each round and present them in a final showdown. The winner will become Gadget Freak of the Year and will receive a check for $6,000. Two runners-up will be awarded $2,000 each.

Do you have a Gadget Freak project you would like the world to see? Send a brief description of your gadget and a photo to Executive Editor Jennifer Campbell.
