Systron Donner Inertial Div. (a company of Schneider Electric) offers its single-axis MEMS quartz angular rate sensor on a small PC board module measuring just 26 mm square by 10.7 mm high. Known as the LCG50, it's aimed at embedded applications where mounting versatility and low cost are needed. Applications for the device include short-term navigation, guidance and control systems, flight testing, robotics and vehicle instrumentation.
