Whether it be mobile, desktop, or server applications, processor suppliers keep pushing the speeds of their newest microprocessor chips. Various performance tweaks involving system architectures, caches, memory, and other areas are enabling the newest processors to keep up—at least temporarily – with the blazing data requirements of the newest games, AI and machine learning networks, or communications centers.
