In the spirit of "What on earth were they thinking?" we bring you some of the most peculiar recent product designs. They include a blood-like energy drink, a skull full of music, and pillow hands to hold your baby. My favorite is the window that folds out into an instant balcony. Yikes!

For the design engineers who committed their talent and ingenuity to these gems, they will forever have a great response to the party question, "So what do you do?" The answer begins, "You'll never believe this, but ..."
