Toolbox/SM generates and unfolds sheet metal models directly inside the Autodesk Mechanical Desktop and allows users to create parametric sheet metal models. Unfolding capability incorporates bend factors for automatic compensation. The software can unfold a solid model with one pick when the user hits the unfold button and picks the edge of the model. Toolbox/SM for Desktop includes tools for annotating the flat pattern including XY coordinate dimensioning, a bend table, and automatic sectioning for oversized plots.
