When Apple has introduced new iPhones or Smartwatches in recent years, much of the big news has revolved around performance enhancements such as new processors and displays. While Apple’s latest upgrades of these products have some peformance upgrades, most notably in their camera systems, the most interesting enhancements this time around revolve around improved device connectivity in remote areas and better notifications of health conditons and vehicle accidents.

Recently, Apple unveiled the latest of its iPhones, the 14 and 14Plus, along with higher-end Pro versions 14Pro and 14ProMax. Apple’s new Smartwatches include the Series 8 and SE, and high-end Ultra. The company also unveiled the second generation of its AirPods Pro earbuds.
