New Functions for Ford's Infotainment Volume Knob

Ford engineers have added new functions to the stick-on rotary volume knob on the F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E EVs.

After Ford engineers scrambled to improvise a K-cup-inspired stick-on adhesive rotary volume knob for the touchscreen infotainment display employed in the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning, it was such a hit that they've added more functions to the knob.

Because the change is in software, existing owners will get the benefit of the changes through over-the-air updates.
