Compact Backhoe Has Long Reach

A four-wheel drive compact tractor loader backhoe is designed for general construction, landscaping, utility and other small to mid-size earthmoving applications, offering Allmand Bros. Inc.’s Extended Service Life backhoe design and a long digging arm.

The TLB-6235 has an always-on mechanical four-wheel drive system, letting operators work in more adverse conditions than two-wheel drive loaders. A 35-horsepower, liquid-cooled Isuzu diesel engine power the loader, offering an efficient axial piston motor capable of running at higher pressures and RPMs. http://www.allmand.com/PRODUCT1-1_fr.HTM

The loader from the Holdrege, NE, manufacturer also features a 65-horsepower rated servo-controlled hydrostatic transmission. The servo-control system provides positive neutral and infinite control of the machine, as well as reduced pedal effort in either forward or reverse travel mode. A hydrostatic transmission is housed in a cast iron transmission case to minimize noise.

Allmand’s backhoe design features oversized pins with composite bearings and urethane lip seals in all working joints. This reduces friction by eliminating metal to metal contact, retaining grease and keeping debris out, extending service intervals. For added safety, the backhoe improves safety with a heavy-duty boom lock that can be easily engaged or disengaged from the operator’s seat. Ergonomic controls minimize operator fatigue.

The backhoe has a 6,000-pound bucket digging force. It’s capable of digging up to a 9-foot 10-inch digging depth. A dual cylinder, 180-degree hydraulic cushioned swing allows precise work in tight areas. The loader features an extended reach loader so the 2/3-cubic yard loader bucket can dump loads in areas where other compact tractors cannot reach.

A load sensing hydraulic steering system requires hydraulic flow only when the operator turns the steering wheel. This increases productivity and enhances performance by providing the maximum available hydraulic power to the backhoe, loader or attachment. A high-capacity hydraulic oil cooler helps extend the life of hydraulic components.

A planetary rear axle assembly lets the loader work in severe terrains, while a planetary axle design provides power to all wheels with less input torque to the ring and pinion. Other TLB-6235 features include: heavy-duty front bumper, skid plates, rounded hood, float control on the front-end loader, easily-accessible service ports on backhoes, and high flotation, low ground pressure tires.
