This must-see video takes you into a Lipton Tea packaging operation to see how robots cut 30% of manual labor.
When a Lipton Tea facility faced a labor shortage in 2019, it found a solution using six collaborative robots from Universal Robots. The plant director and two of the facility’s automation leaders give first-hand insights on the project. For instance, they explain how the implementations went so smoothly that the company used an outside integrator for only the first two of six installations; more robots are on the way. The plant leaders also report a 30% labor reduction and other benefits that led to a one-year return on investment.
