Control cable

Because this oil resistant, flexible control cable is Tray Rated, it is recommended for use in applications that require a cable to be connected from a cable tray to equipment on the manufacturing floor. It has a temperature range from -20 to 90C and an oil-resistant black PVC jacket. Designed for use in all electrical equipment as an alternative to stationary TC cables, it can be used in damp, dry, and wet environments. Approval ratings range from UL Type TC and CSA to CE compliance.

Linear actuator

Model SP was developed for applications requiring high structural integrity. The unitized, high-strength cast aluminum body offers strength over conventional aluminum extrusion, multi-component designs. Intended for up to 2,500 lbs thrust, and side-loading capability up to 250 lbs, this actuator was designed for a low noise level of 62 db(A) at 2 inches/sec and 72 at 12. Completely sealed against contamination, 0.0005 inches repeatability is provided.

Brass parts

For use in small mechanical devices, each part has a 0.158 inch diameter and measures 0.235 inches long. The parts can be used in applications with tolerances that must be held to within 0.0025 inches. This includes made-to-print precision components for the appliance, medical, electronic, and optical industries.

Modular motor controllers

Operating from 115 and 230V lines, these modular motor controllers, DigiDrive(TM)II, control the speed of 1/10 to 1 hp single- phase induction motors. Applications include: air handling; fan and blower control; and pumps and compressors in the residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning sector.

Multi-discipline controller

The ControlLogix 5550 controller provides direct in-line execution of all motion commands and can support up to 16 motion modules for a total of 32 axes. The ability to eliminate redundant components-including I/O, network connection, and programming software required in a dedicated motion system-helps reduce the overall system cost. Reportedly, less time is required to program, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot systems.

Oldham couplings

Paradrive(TM)oldham couplings, for motion control applications, are composed of two aluminum hubs with drive tendons that mate with a floating center member. The design is intended to allow for easy sliding to accommodate misalignment. They have light bearing loads since the only resistance caused by misalignment is frictional. The replaceable center disks are available in Nylon (for damping and vibration control) and Acetal (for precision applications/zero backlash).
