Delrin and Peek Worms and Wheels

Ondrives Ltd. have added to their Peek GF30and Delrin POM range of gears by making worms and wheels in the same material. Theseworms and wheels start at 0.5 Mod going up to 3.0 as standard and all areavailable in 1, 2, 3 or 4 starts. Worms, worm shafts and wheels are designed tobe run together in either Peek GF30 (light brown) or Delrin POM (white) or witha plastic wheel running with a steel worm/worm shaft. They are made to QualityGrade 8e25 DIN 3974 and different bore sizes, keyways, tapped and pin holes.Complete specials are also available to customer's drawings and specificationswhere required.

Peek Gf30 is a materialknown for it's resistance against chemicals, high tensile and impactstrength and for keeping its shape. Delrin plastic material is characterized bygood fatigue life, low moisture sensitivity and high resistance to solvents andchemicals. It also contains good electrical properties. Delrin is a semicrystalline engineering plastic that is particularly suited to CNC machiningmaking it easily modified where customer's applications call out for it.
