FasTest Connectors

FasTest's FasTest Internal (FI) seriesconnectorsprovide fast, leak-tight connections for pressure and vacuum testing, fluidfilling and flushing applications from vacuum to 120 psi. FI connectorsare activated as compressed regulated air acts on a piston within theconnector, which expands a seal to form a leak-tight connection- without pipesealant, wrenches and thread damage. Air, liquid or gas media can then beintroduced through the connector to accomplish testing, filling or flushing ofthe equipment.

The FIseries provides a solution for robotics or pick-and-placeapplications that require delicate handling and/or testing. If there is anerror in an automated process that results in a part not arriving to thespecified location, a connector may still become pressurized, resulting inover-expansion of the seal and potential damage to the connector. To regulatethis expansion of the seal-also referred to as the stroke-the FI seriesnow includes a stroke limiter feature. The FI series alsofeatures a newly designed retaining clip that is recessed in the connector,protecting it from wear and contributing to a longer-lasting connector life.
