Thread eliminates loss of loose hardware

Unlike loose wingnuts and mounting nuts which can become lost, cause damage to equipment, or create liability problems, the Captive Nut can be mated with a variety of externally threaded hardware to speed attachment of outer panels, subassemblies, or components. An internal thread and ferrule help to position panels while being fastened. A thru-hole version accommodates wide variations in frame and panel thicknesses, as well as gasket compression and set. A blind-hole version provides a neat, clean appearance. The Captive Nut assembly is designed to be hand operable and accept products with standard metric or imperial thread sizes.

Enclosure provides many mounting options

Concept^(TM) operator-interface enclosures accommodate flat-screen displays. Numerous mounting options, including wall mounting, pendant, or pedestal, are possible with this enclosure system. Four sizes are available in each of three body styles: solid-back, rear-access, or double-hinged. A swivel tilt mechanism can be used with either pedestals or pendant arms to provide 350 degree rotation and 30 degree tilt from the horizontal. All Concept operator-interface enclosure bodies are rated UL/CSA Type 4 and 12, and IP 66. Hinged fronts and deep-hinged windows are rated UL Type 12, CSA Type 4 and 12, and IP 55.

Film tape offers strong bond

9731 double-coated film tape is suited for splicing, mounting, bonding, and temporary holding applications in the paper, rubber, electronics, transportation, and medical industries. The tape features a moisture-stable release liner on the acrylic adhesive side of the carrier and a polyester film release liner on the silicone adhesive side. A firm, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive coated on the inside of the polyester film carrier provides bonds on silicone surfaces with a strong resistance to high temperatures and many solvents. An acrylic adhesive system on the outside of the carrier provides high-performance bonds on most papers, plastics, and metals.

Tubing enables positive identification

PAN-SHRINK^(TM), yellow and green striped, "HSST", thin-wall, heat-shrink tubing is for use in identifying ground wires in appliances and other equipment. The yellow and green stripes are a co-extruded polyolefin material and will not rub off or fade. The permanent color enables positive, long-term identification of ground wire. The tubing is UL recognized and CSA approved, and offers a 600V continuous rating with an operating temperature range of -55 to 135C. The tubing is available in diameters from 1/8 to 1 inch and is packaged on 25-ft reels for easy dispensing, or in bulk in 4-ft lengths.

Nonmetallic back-box enclosures are for use with pin-and-sleeve and watertight Safety-Shroud^(TM) Twist-Lock(R) wiring devices used in hostile and abusive environments. The back box is made of a high-grade thermoplastic that meets IP67 requirements and resists chemicals, abuse, and UV rays. Coupling allows less than 1 ml spillage

EPSILON(TM) chemical transfer coupling and containment system features a convex/concave ball-valve design with redundant mechanical interlocking systems on both halves of the coupling. The ball valve shuts off fluid pressure and allows for easy and safe connecting and disconnecting. In application, the mechanical interlocking system keeps the coupling halves together, making it impossible to disconnect when fluid is flowing. The combination of stainless steel with PTFE seals allows for safe connection and disconnection of liquid lines at operating pressures up to 150 psig, with less than 1 ml of spillage.

Clamp offers quick installation

Speed Clamp is for semi-permanently fixing a part, such as a fluid-conveying hose, dustproof bellows, or axial boot, on the circumferential surface of a mating device. Even if the mating device looses its elasticity because of aging, the clamping device maintains its permanent, stable, firm clamping state. An operating tool forces the inner and outer overlap portions of the clamp band to spread until the seizing tooth of the inner overlap portion and the fixed tooth of the outer overlap portion seize each other, thereby contracting the bore diameter of the clamp band.
