The stainless steel valve is lockableonly in the OFF position (with a tamperproof locking mechanism) and has a largeexhaust port for rapid pressure relief. The Stainless Steel L-O-X is availablein port sizes A.25 to 2 inches and providesdirect manual operation by a simple push/pull of the handle.

Its stainless steel construction andself-draining capability is a solution for washdown applications and its standardVITON seals provide protection against contaminant ingression.

The Stainless Steel L-O-X valve comesstandard with a pressure sensing port which allows the optional installation ofa pop-up indicator or pressure switch. These options are designed to provide avisual indication that pressure to the next downstream obstruction has beenreleased. This feature assists inallowing the authorized employee to meet the verification requirement found inOSHA, ANSI, and CSA standards. ROSSoffers both an indicator and a switch as accessories for the valve.
