Semitron(reg) 225 electrostatic dissipative plastic (ESD) is for making semiconductor equipment parts and is inherently static-dissipative. Components machined from Semitron ESD 225 shapes are used in equipment for handling silicon wafers in the integrated circuit manufacturing process where protection against static discharge is paramount. Applications also include fixturing for the assembly of hard disk drives.
