Nippon Pulse Offers High Torque in Thin Stack Stepper

Nippon Pulse Offers High Torque in Thin Stack Stepper

The PFC35TH offers a maximum holding torque of 33 mN/m, 8 mN/m greater than the standard PFC35 motor and 6 mN/m greater than the PF35T stepper, also a thin stack model. Despite having a greater holding torque, the PFC35TH weighs eight grams less than the PFC35T (80 vs. 88g) and equal to the standard PF35 motor. The PFC35TH stepper measures 15 mm at its widest point, over 5 mm less than the standard PF35 motor.

Other features of the PFC35TH rotary motor include a rated voltage of 9V, a starting pulse rate of 400 pps, a slewing pulse rate of 470 pps, and a resistance of 37Ω. The total height of the motor is 27, 15 mm coming from the motor housing and 12 mm from the standard shaft.

Because of its high torque output and low profile construction, applications for the PFC35TH tin-can stepper motor include printing, packaging and medical devices.
