What's the number one reason that Design News readers go the Internet, other than for work? According to a recent Design News study (May 2003), it's to seek information on hobbies. Nearly half (46%) of the respondents reported that they look for information on everything from antique cars to auto racing, to ham radios. The second most popular reason they go to the web is to participate in Internet auctions.
