SOFTWARE/HARDWARE: CWAV Inc. announced the release of the USBee Protolyzer, a state-of-the-art dynamically configurable electronic prototyping platform with a complete range of analog and digital test equipment in a single PC connected device. With a single USB connection to your PC, the USBee Protolyzer gives engineers the power to design, prototype, test, and validate their mixed signal electronic designs and bring them from concept to reality.

Each USBee Protolyzer features a dynamically configurable Debug Center with a library of components including Op Amps, logic gates, tri-color LEDs, buffers, filters, ADCs, DACs, counters, and multiplexers to use during device development. It also includes traditional prototyping features such as a solderless breadboard, power supplies with regulated 5V, 3.3V and variable reference voltages, SPDT switches, push buttons, LEDs, Sine/Triangle/Square wave generator, UART to PC COM port interface, variable resistors, DIP switches and more.

With built-in USBee Test Pod mixed signal oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, frequency counters, and protocol analyzers, the USBee Protolyzer takes full advantage of the powerful debugging capabilities of CWAV’s USBee Suite software. This combination gives mixed signal analyzing capabilities as well as I2C, SPI, Async, 1-Wire, CAN, USB, I2S, and custom protocol decoding.

The USBee Protolyzer is available in two versions: The USBee AX Protolyzer and the USBee DX Protolyzer.

The USBee AX Protolyzer features the dynamically configurable Debug Center with the traditional prototyping features mentioned above. Test equipment features provided in the USBee AX Protolyzer include a complete USBee AX-Pro Logic Analyzer/Oscilloscope/Signal Generator (1 Analog x 8 Digital channels) with a standard oscilloscope probe, eight Logic Probe indicators for current signal state and activity, four channel voltmeter, four channel edge detector, USBee Suite control buttons (Capture, Pan, and Zoom) with customizable macro key, and full integration with the USBee Suite Logic Analyzer/Oscilloscope/Protocol Analyzer PC Software.

The USBee DX Protolyzer includes all of the features of the USBee AX Protolyzer, plus an integrated USBee DX Logic Analyzer/Oscilloscope/Signal Generator (2 Analog x 16 Digital channels) to provide simultaneous signal generation and oscilloscope/logic analyzer operation.  All functions are housed in a sleek, slanted platform and come with all required test leads, clips, cables and a carrying case.

Priced at $945 and $1995 respectively, the USBee AX Protolyzer and USBee DX Protolyzer are essential electronic prototyping and testing tools.  All prices are in USA Dollars and the entire USBee product line is designed, manufactured and supported in the USA.
