Flow switch
The Teflon(R) 125-T flow switch for industrial liquids and gases monitors lower flows and operates best when the normal flow-to set-point ratio is 10:1 or greater. When no flow is present, a free magnetic piston is suspended in the upper portion of the valve-bore due to magnetic repulsion between the lower fixed magnet and the piston. When flow is established the piston is displaced downward and actuates the reed switch at set point, which is adjustable. The flow range is 30 to 16,000 cc/m for air or 1 to 500 cc/m for water. Features include a repeatability of plus or minus 2%, normally open or SPDT switches, and 1/8-inch fluid ports.
