Crystek's new CVCO55CXT-5800-5800 Coaxial Resonator Oscillator (CRO) employs frequency doubling, 2Xfundamental technology to reach new performance levels of low phase noise andharmonics, while minimizing current consumption in the process.

The CVCO55CXT-5800-5800operates at 5800 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5V dc. Thiscoaxial VCO features a typical phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz at 10KHz offset andhas excellent linearity. Engineered and manufactured in the USA, the model CVCO55CXT-5800-5800 is packaged in theindustry-standard 0.5x 0.5 inch SMD package.

CVCO55CXT-5800-5800 CRO exhibits an output power of+3dBm typ. into a 50O load with a supply of +8.0V dc and a typical currentconsumption of 35mA. Pulling and Pushing are both minimized to 1.0MHz and3.0MHz/V, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -30dBc typical.
