Valves
A three-part shear-or floating-seal design allows high flow in a series of cryogenic valves. The seal includes a plunger, Teflon seal disc, and valve seat positioned in a brass or stainless-steel body. Liquid nitrogen flows through the valves at high rates. Shear seals provide a flow path directly in line with the tubing or connection to either side of the valve, minimizing turbulence.

Needle valve
The 740V's rapid response time, adjustable fluid flow, and instant cutoff reportedly ensure consistent deposits down to fractions of a micro(liter), while making consistent bubble-free deposits of UV-cure adhesives. At the end of the dispense cycle, the needle seats itself in the tip adapter. This ensures an instant, drip-free cutoff and eliminates any fluid dead volume that could affect the size of the next deposit. Spring-loaded Teflon(R)needle packings compensate for wear and minimize downtime.
