Welder
Model CV-10 programmable orbital vibration welder incorporates a proven electromagnetic drive to create relative motion between two thermoplastic parts. This constant-velocity motion generates heat, raising the material temperature at the joint to its melting point. The motion stops after sufficient material is melted. The plastic then solidifies and forms a permanent bond. The orbital welding process provides greater capabilities in designing plastic parts. An elliptical path can be set at any angle.

Static eliminator
Super Ion Air knife removes static electricity from plastics, webs, sheet stock, and other product surfaces where dust, tearing, jamming, or hazardous shocks are a problem. The knife also provides a sheet of air to sweep surfaces clean of particles, dust, and dirt. The knife produces a laminar sheet of airflow that floods an area or surface with static-eliminating ions. The balanced airflow across its length is uniform and will not cause misalignments to critical surfaces such as webs.

Transceivers
MDX-19 Series of optical LED transceivers are for ATM and FDDI data-communication networks and mezzanine card applications. These high-performance transceivers integrate duplex data links that provide bi-directional communication over multimode optical fiber. The 1,300-nm LED is suitable for use in network environments such as ATM OC-3 up to 155 Mbits/sec and FDDI at 125 Mbaud. Compatible with either 50 or 62.5 micron multimode fiber-optic cable, the transceivers are for backbone applications.

Insulator
Printed insulator for electronic applications provides high-voltage protection, component identification, and personnel hazard warnings. These die-cut parts can be perforated and cut into shapes that will make the part a multi-surface enclosure with minimal tooling. The insulator shows a 0.030-inch thick Valoxr FR1 film part used in a telecommunications application that provides insulation for high voltage as well as personnel warnings.

Signal devices
Dc buzzer and small, 12V dc-rated piezo sirens are part of the Mallory lineup of audible signal devices. The electric buzzer has a resonant frequency of 400 Hz and is available in four dc-rated voltages. The buzzer emits a low-frequency buzz sound and is equipped with lead wires and a pair of flange mounts. The buzzer is targeted for use in toys, electronic games, electric tools, and radar detectors. The sirens are for consumer and business products, as well as vehicular and general security or warning uses. The sirens are available with a constant tone, slow pulse, hi-low, or sweep tones.

Inductor
The Hugger SPT-169 low-profile magnetic component is used as a coupling transformer or feed-bridge inductor. The Hugger is used in circuits to provide a dc loop current path without shunting the ac signal. With the dc signal blocked by a capacitor, the coupling transformer's size can be reduced while providing a better signal-level performance. Dielectric strength is 1,500V ac and resistance is 114{OMEGA} ±15%. Maximum dimensions are 1.910 x 1.610 x 0.380 inches.

Actuator
Latching actuator features a magnetically latched solenoid operator that allows the valve to be pulse-energized in order to change the plunger position. With the valve in the "closed" position, the plunger return spring provides sufficient force to maintain the plunger position as well as maintain a bubble-tight seal. The valve will then remain in the "open" position until the latching actuator is pulse-energized to change the position of the plunger.
