Advanced Design & Manufacturing (ADM) Toronto announced this week the return of the in-person event with the support of key industry partners Annex Media; the Chemical Industry Association of Canada, Plastics Division; PAC – Packaging Consortium; and PEMA – Process Equipment Manufacturers Association. ADM Toronto is Canada's leading end-to-end conference and exhibition driving exploration into the latest trends and technological advances in the design and manufacturing industries.

Five event brands are co-located under the ADM Toronto umbrella — PLAST-EX, PackEX, Automation Technology Expo (ATX), Powder & Bulk Solids, and Design & Manufacturing (D&M) — which is slated for Nov. 9 to 11, 2021, at the Toronto Congress Centre. Designed to provide an all-in-one experience, ADM Toronto invites attendees to explore trends and technologies shaping the future of advanced design and manufacturing across automation, robotics, energy efficiency, packaging, plastics, processing, and more.

"The power of face-to-face connection plays an undeniable role in the industry's advancement and has been sorely missed over the past 18 months," said Jenny McCall, Group Event Director, ADM, Informa Markets – Engineering. "We could not be more excited to reconnect with the industry in person this November in Canada's epicenter of innovation and progress.”

The event will reunite the community for the first time since in-person meetings came to a halt more than 18 months ago. Some 250 industry-leading exhibitors are eager to connect with attendees, including Absolute Haitian, CAM Packaging Systems, Carlo Gavazzi Canada, Flexlink Systems, KUKA Robotics Canada, Multivac Canada, and SMC Corp.

The event follows the opening of the US-Canada border to international travel. As of Aug. 9, vaccinated US and Canadian travelers with documented proof of vaccination are permitted to travel internationally.

Further laying the foundation for a successful in-person gathering, Canada is one of the leading countries in the world for vaccinations, with 71% of its population having received at least one dose of the vaccine. Sixty-two percent of the population was fully vaccinated as of Aug. 13.
