ISODAMP C-1002 thermoplastic damping and isolation material provides control of noise, vibration, shock, and motion in a wide range of applications from precision equipment to off-road vehicles. The material is lightweight and flexible, and resistant to environmental degradation. It is also reported to have good flame resistance and anti-skid properties. Synergistic coatings

MAGNADIZE(R)coatings are formulated to improve corrosion resistance, hardness, and lubricity of magnesium and magnesium alloys. They are used in a wide variety of commercial applications, including sliding vanes in rotary compressors, air-operated tools, and turbo-prop gear splines and housings. Pressure indicating film

This sensor is useful in assessing compression magnitude and distribution between any two mating or impacting surfaces with, according to the company, much greater resolution than standard indicating films. Applications exist for both manufacturing process control and machine/component inspection calibration. When placed between interfacial surfaces, the film permanently changes color to reveal measurements of dispersion and degrees of pressure.

Printing on silicone

This company reports to have developed a new process for printing on silicone without the use of Clearcoat. According to independent testing, silicone keypads printed with the new process were able to withstand over one million actuations without showing significant wear. Specially designed for printing onto concave and convex surfaces as well as flat, the process can reduce the need for offshore printing and reduces lead times.

Aerospace alloy

Project 7000(R)15Cr-5Ni stainless has been developed to provide superior machinability while meeting all requirements of Aerospace Material Specification (AMS) 5659, covering bars, wire, forgings, rings, and extrusions. The new alloy is available as a "drop-in" replacement for conventional 15Cr-5Ni stainless in applications where improved machining productivity is desired. Liquid silicone carbide

Rescor(TM) 770 Liquid Silicone Carbide is a castable ceramic, thermally conductive material that has an easy-to-use "in house" process. It can be mixed and poured into any non-absorbent mold. Alumina foam

Alumina in foam form allows engineers to combine the high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, and good wear resistance characteristic of the ceramic with the favorable structural attributes of foam.
