Composite metals

Composite metal products feature two or more layers of precious metals or alloys metallurgically bonded to copper- or nickel-based alloys to yield such characteristics as biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, or low cost. The products are available as wire, rod, and bar stock, and in sizes from 0.002 to 1.500 inches OD. Standard products include titanium-clad copper, nickel-clad copper, platinum-clad anodes, and precious-metal-clad wire. Custom products can be designed to customer requirements.

Silicone emulsion

Developed to be formulated with a wax emulsion, 2-9034 Emulsion provides long-term water beading on above-ground, unpainted wood. The milky white, water-dilutable silicone emulsion doesn't change wood appearance. Users can mix it with mildewcides, UV additives, or pigments for making water-repellent stains. Supplied at 50% solids in water, the material has a viscosity of 15,000 cp and a specific gravity of 0.94 at 25C.
