Miniature lock

Designed as a timesaving alternative to bolts and dowels, the Mini Cylinder Lock locates and locks frequently changed components, including tool inserts, molds, jigs, and fixtures. The pneumatically actuated device is designed to work in temperatures up to 400F, with precise alignment and strong holding force. Once locked into place, it will not budge until actuated by air pressure. An added feature allows the unit to rotate without removal. It is suited for the thermoform plastics industry.

Aqueous coatings

Autoseal(TM)aqueous coatings for on- or off-line processes reportedly offer high-abrasion resistance, low COFs, noise reduction, and good ice release. Used in high-performance applications such as glass runs (dense rubber), and functional applications such as door and deck seals (sponge rubber), these coatings can also be used as low-friction coatings for optimal performance. The black coatings have a flash-time of 60-90 sec before entering the oven, and the cure cycle is 90 sec at 350F.

Automated press

The PEMSERTER(R)Series 2000(TM)fastener-installation press system is engineered with a programmable logic controller and touch screen controls to minimize operator training and to simplify use when installing self-clinching fasteners. Some features include job store and recall mode, to retain operator settings for up to 12 jobs; last job mode, for returning to the most recent job run without repeating the setup process; ram return stroke control, to adjust the ram for a shorter stroke, and real-time hydraulic ram pressure feedback. It performs 2,750 to 3,600 strokes/hour.

Silicone sealant

For bonding and sealing sensitive components, and other applications where the released solvents or cure by-products of many room-temperature sealants are undesirable, this RTV silicone material neutral-cure sealant produces no acid by-products during cure. It is recommended for a range of industrial uses, including bonding and sealing of components, and as a formed-in-place gasketing material for sealing compressors, gearboxes, pumps, and small motors.
