Sundance Will Run Robert Redford’s Green Series

The Sundance Channel will begin running The Green, a new series focusing on environmental topics, on Tuesday, April 17, at 9 p.m. The Green will present original programming as well as documentaries that will present information and practical advice on the environment. The series will be presented by Sundance founder, Robert Redford, and will be hosted by journalist Simran Sethi and community advocate Majora Carter. The two have distinguished themselves with their green ideas for civic planning and global business practices.

Leading off each edition of The Green will be the original program, Big Ideas for a Small Planet, a documentary series that presents forward-thinking designers, products and processes that are on the leading edge of green developments. Each episode revolves around a different green theme as it looks at innovations that have the potential to transform our lives.
