Stumpy block cylinders scrimp on space

The short, compact body design of these new block cylinders saves space and simplifies mounting, particularly in applications where space is at a premium, such as press fitting, stamping, clamping, and robotics. The cylinders have an extruded aluminum body with 10 nominal bore sizes ranging from 0.5 inch to 4 inches. The cylinders are available as single-acting, double-acting, and double-acting/non-rotating types. Tandem and dual cylinder types for multiple force and stroke applications are also available. Various mounting choices include threaded through-holes on body or foot, flange, and pivot styles. Users can choose among four different sensor switches, including Hall-effect or reed types and LEDs. Although compact, the unique body design permits the switches to be mounted on three sides. Options include: Viton seals, male rod thread, or non-rod thread. Humphrey Products Co.
