Two-speed gear boxes extend the constant power speed range of spindle drive motors. Depending on the ratio selected, output speed can be the same as the motor (1:1) or reduced to 3.8:1. Data sheet includes drawings and charts that depict input powers and speeds, output torque capacities, speed ratios, and input inertias. The literature also presents information on gear changing mechanisms. Illustrations of flange mounting using a V-belt or timing belt pulley over the bearing housing are also included.
