Fisher-Price has put sharp Microelectronics' Blue Streak Arm 7 processor line on its road map for some electronic toys. An Arm CPU from Sharp (www.sharpsma.com/sma/products/MCUSoC.htm) is used in the Pixter Color Digital Creativity System (www.fisher-price.com/us/pixter/) now on the market to replace an 8-bit chip in previous generations. LCD controllers are among the cores that help make the processor suitable for toy development.
