Cablemounts

Metal cablemounts reduce the effects of shock and vibration on sensitive equipment in hostile environments. These rugged isolators operate under extreme conditions and are resistant to chemicals, abrasives, and other corrosive conditions. Applications include industrial and military ones, such as protecting sensitive shipboard navigation and communication equipment from rough seas and the combat environment.

Sensor

The MSP-430 hostile media pressure sensor provides pressure measurement in the 0 to 25,000 psi range to support diesel injection, hydraulic, downhole drilling, and other high-pressure industrial applications. Fabricated from a single piece of 17-4 PH stainless steel, the MSP-430 has no internal O-rings, welds, or silicone oil-filled cavities. The sensor features micromachined silicon strain-gage technology, which makes it virtually impervious to most physical and electrical hostile media environments.

Valves

The D1FM Series of electrohydraulic, proportional, directional control valves feature high resolution at low command inputs. These direct-actuated valves provide precise control of position and force loops and machine tool feed rates. A zero-lap spool is available for closed-loop applications with two different power-down configurations.

Modules

IDT7MPV4060 and IDT7MPV-4145 3.3V asynchronous memory modules feature an industry-standard pinout and are pin-compatible with each other and future larger densities. The IDT7MPV-4060 module contains four 128K x 8 SRAMs in plastic small-outline J-lead (SOJ) packages. The IDT7MPV4145 module contains eight 256K x 4 SRAMs in SOJ packages. Both are 72-pin single in-line memory modules and occupy 1 sq inch of board space.

Motors

The 22BC Series of sensorless miniature brushless dc motors are 22 mm in diameter and feature slotless, three-phase windings for cogless operation, and rare-earth neodymium ring magnets for torque production.

Analyzer

The C.A. 8310 power-harmonics energy analyzer analyzes electricity networks and energy distribution in a single instrument. The analyzer combines the functions of power-harmonics energy measurement, recording the values, and displaying and printing out the results by means of its built-in printer. Supplied as standard with the C.A. 8310, C.A. Power View software brings the programming flexibility of the instrument to the PC.

Sensors

The "Osiris" range of photoelectric sensors detect virtually any material, object, or person. The range comprises four product families for general usage and another four for specialist industrial applications such as packaging, automated assembly, and mechanical handling. Conforming to IEC, UL, and CSA standards, these products will detect objects at distances between 1 mm to 100m, and with IP67 protection and operation between -25 and 55C, these sensors can be used in harsh industrial environments.

Assembly

NEMA 1-15P male bridge assembly is part of the company's existing line of pre-assembled cordset components. The funnel design within the bowl fed termination system allows both wires to be terminated simultaneously, reducing loose strands. Since the terminals come pre-assembled in the NEMA 1-15P configuration, loading the mold is comparable to plugging a power cord into a wall receptacle.

Sensors

Two-component quartz force sensors feature sensitivity that has remained constant to within 0.5% during more than 20 years of use. The sensors are used by Mercedes-Benz in crash tests.

Module

The 2E/1A-230 V AS-I module provides a connection between single-phase loads up to 230V ac, 6A and the AS interface. The module has two digital inputs and one relay output, and two or three conductor sensors can be connected to the two M12 input sockets. The connection technology used for both load infeed (3-pole) and load output (4-pole changeover contact) is the 7/8-inch plug-in technology. The module is connected to the yellow AS-interface cable via the FK coupling module with an electromechanical interface.

Sensor

"Low mass" sensor monitors forces in seat belts and other restraining harnesses. The sensor uses a "three bar" system, which minimizes errors caused by belt thickness effects. The low wrap angles used with this concept create minimum webbing disturbance, reduce the forces in the sensor, and permit large reductions in sensor weight. Low sensor weight is important for crash testing applications where the sensor undergoes large deceleration forces.

Arrays

C-Arrays ceramic multilayer capacitor arrays contain four CMCs in a 1206 case size. Applications include cost-sensitive ones, especially where high packing density is a major requirement; data processing; consumer electronic equipment; telecommunications; and automotive electronics. A single C-Array occupies less than half the board space of four equivalent discrete CMCs.

Duplex receptacles

Surge Protection Plusr standard, isolated ground, hospital grade, and isolated ground hospital grade TVSS duplex receptacles are available with or without audio alarm to alert users of bad ground or failed MOV. Two green LED indicators assure that surge protection circuitry is operational and ground continuity is intact. The TVSS line is offered in 15 and 20A, 125V devices, and the two-pole, three-wire receptacles are available in blue, brown, ivory, gray, orange, and white. Applications include industrial, commercial, and institutional ones.

Barriers

Transformer-isolated intrinsically safe barriers integrate marshalling, signal conversion/isolation, and intrinsic safety in one module. Knife disconnects and testpoints are designed into a base terminal block which accepts pluggable electronics for input and output signals from hazardous and safe areas. The process-interface terminal block is 12.4 mm wide and can be DIN-rail mounted. Bridging is possible using insertion bridges. The galvanically (transformer)-isolated electronic plugs are coded for both hazardous and safe area applications.

Diodes

The 87CNQ020 and 47CTQ020 20V Schottky diodes allow designers of 3.3V output switch mode power supplies improved system efficiency and reliability and increased power density. The 87CNQ020 features a forward voltage drop of 300 mV at 40A and is available in standard, surface-mount, or clip-mount D-61 packages. It is rated at 80A. The 47CTQ020 is rated at 40A and has a forward voltage drop of 300 mV at 20A. It is available in standard TO-220, surface-mount D²Pak, and I²Pack packages.

Heat exchangers

Model 727 is a member of the 720 Series of liquid-to-air copper fin-and-tube heat exchangers and measures 24 x 24 x 2.6 inches. The heat exchanger can dissipate 330W for every one degree C difference between water and air entering the heat exchanger. An aluminum fan shroud for mounting four fans is also available. Applications include closed-loop liquid cooling required in cooling semiconductor manufacturing, processing, and test equipment.

Valves

Proportional valves are available in nine orifice sizes ranging from 0.062 to 0.625. All the valves in this line feature a 250 Hz frequency response and a less than 3% hysteresis. The valves perform at low pressure drops and are for medical, industrial control, and alternative fuel applications. An isolation diaphragm separates the working fluid from the coil and armature. This limits the fluid path exclusively to the poppet area, making these valves suitable for both gases and liquids.
