Ethernet temperature measurement

The model DTS3250 is designed to be an intelligent digital thermocouple scanner for temperature measurement. The digital temperature scanner reportedly incorporates 16 pairs of temperature inputs, RAM, integral low pass filters, a 16 bit A/D converter, and a microprocessor in a rugged temperature controlled stand-alone module. An isothermal block is incorporated for the Uniform Temperature Reference with a plus or minus 0.1C accuracy. The firmware includes an open thermocouple test and allows for user field calibration-improving end-to-end accuracy.

Sensor film

Pressurex(R)is a tactile force indicating sensor film. The sensor is designed to be useful in assessing compression magnitude and distribution between any two mating or impacting surfaces. It comes in the form of a large thin sheet/film. When placed between interfacial surfaces, the sensor film permanently changes color proportional to the amount of force applied.

Pressure transducers

Ultrasonic sensor

Ultrasonic Sensor UDDK 30 uses "teach-in" to eliminate the limitations associated with installing sensors in confined spaces or in front of stationary objects. The teach-in is supposed to "learn" to fade out interfering objects, making installation and operation on the factory floor easier. The sensor features an elliptical measuring area with an opening angle of 8 degrees and one-touch set-up.

Analog I/O modules

Thermometers

The Close Focus Raynger(R)MX(TM)infrared non-contact thermometer is designed to provide accurate measurement of small target areas without including unwanted background temperatures. It incorporates a laser capable of measuring a spot as small as 6 mm at 300 mm distance. The 16 point laser shows the user the spot size being measured, reportedly providing 1% reading accuracy-more accurate than any other unit at as close a range, the company says.

Control system

The Temposonics S Series ServoSensor(TM)capitalizes on smaller, more powerful microprocessors and advances in surface-mount technology to eliminate the need for an external controller. The servocontroller, drive module, and sensor electronics fit into the sensor head (approximately 1.75x4 inches). Real-time control
