Multiplexer

The MuxiPort intelligent serial data multiplexer is capable of multiplexing the RS-232 port on an Allen Bradley PLC into two separate user ports. MuxiPorts can also be cascaded to provide two additional user ports or low cost-limited networking capability. User devices connected to MuxiPort can communicate with the PLC via either a DF1 or a generic ASCII protocol. Node addresses for the user device communicating with the PLC are generated by a point-to-point DF1 protocol. All incoming messages and outgoing messages are triple buffered.
