DM224i-EDN microstepping drive, equipped with a DeviceNet(reg) network interface, is capable of 3A per phase at 48V and can produce holding torque up to 350 oz-inches when mated with MST high-torque step motors. The DM-224i-EDN eliminates the need for indexers or motion controllers in many applications because it accepts direct, high-level commands from the machine controller through DeviceNet. Other features include automatic mid-band stabilization and microstep-to-full step switching, plus programmable low-power mode.
