iPOD PORTABLE SPEAKERS

Logitech MM50
Another option for docking the iPOD employs 3-D sound processing for a broader stereo effect. These portable speakers use three-inch pressure drivers to maximize bass and minimize distortion. Two Texas Instruments' TPA3004D2 12W per channel class D stereo amplifiers (http://rbi.ims.ca/4928-547) power the speakers. Designed for driving bridged-tied stereo speakers, the TPA3004D2 can handle stereo speakers as low as 4q. The integrated 32-step dc volume control provides gain from -40 dB to 36 dB. Efficient class D operation eliminates the need for external heatsinks. For more information on Logitech's MM50, go to http://rbi.ims.ca/4928-546.
