Booklet offers information on why to install intrinsic safety devices in Div. 2 areas. The booklet includes application examples of situations where instrumentation might call for intrinsic safety rather than normal electrical apparatus. Specifically, the booklet discusses areas where instruments can be situated in a Div. 2 area but are in contact with a Div. 1 area.
