High resolution in harsh environments
This encoder has a passive design and runs at temperatures from -60 to 150C, runs farther than copper encoder links by up to 1,000m, is immune to lightning and high-voltage static or plasma fields, and resists radiation. Coupled with the MR310 Remote Encoder Interface Module, the encoder has quadrature outputs, quadrature multiplier/divider, 24-bit absolute multitum encoder emulation mode, two programmable analog outputs (4/20 mA and +/-10V), and RS232/RS422 serial interface. Engineering evaluation kits including the MR3154 and MR310 cost $3,495, and in larger quantities are priced as low as $2,500. Micronor Inc.http://rbi.ims.ca/4928-633
