GreenSoft Technology Inc. of South Pasadena, Calif. has released an enhanced version of its GreenData Manager - REACH (GDM-REACH). The tool was designed to help suppliers comply with material composition declaration requirements from their OEMs. GreenSoft has added requirements such as IBM ES 46G3772 and HP GSE-011, Motorola W-18 and Sony ss00259 to its rule-sets within GDM-REACH.
According to GreenSoft, GDM-REACH now:
Validates supplier-reported EU RoHS status against material composition data
Offers a failure analysis function to generate a list of non-compliant parts in a BOM with associated substances under violation
Presents data on EU RoHS changes, listing components that have expired or will be expiring in the next 12 months
Performs product compliance validation by considering two source parts
