GGSX Series 40 gas springs feature improved multilobe seals and smaller-volume tubes. Applications include use in opening and holding lids, covers, doors, tail gates, and other hinged parts on recreational vehicles, pickup toppers, marine chests, tool boxes, and similar products. The gas springs are available with P1 pressures in 5-lb increments from 15 to 100 lbs to suit various loads. The gas springs all have 0.51-inch-diameter tubes and 0.24-inch-diameter rods, which enable installation in close or cramped configurations.
