Industrial distributor Fastenal partnered with the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corp. (RBRC) to launch RBRC's Call2Recycle program in 1,900 of its stores throughout the U.S.
Consumers can now drop off their used rechargeable batteries and old cell phones in designated Call2Recycle collection boxes in participating Fastenal stores. The rechargeable batteries and cell phones will be sent to RBRC's recycling facility for proper disposal at no cost to the consumer.
The Call2Recycle program boosts RBRC's total recycling collection sites to more than 50,000 throughout the U.S. and Canada.
