Compact, High-Pressure Pump

Flojet's Triplex small, positive displacement pump provides a maximum fluid pressure capacity of 150 psi. A unique bypass design gives the pump the ability to adapt to a range of flow rates at a constant pressure. Units provide flow rates up to 2 g/min (7.6 l/min) with operating pressures exceeding 140 psi (9.7 bar). The self-priming diaphragm pumps have a cutoff switch to limit the maximum pressure to 150 psi (10.3 bar).

Critical materials in the pump include glass-filled nylon for the pump head, Santoprene for the diaphragm, and EPDM or Viton check valves. This combination of materials allows the pumps to handle a broad range of chemicals without corroding. Co-injection mold diaphragm technology essentially eliminates potential leak paths for higher performance and longer life.

Intended for intermittent duty cycles, but capable of running continuously for short periods of time, the pumps can run dry without damage. However, higher duty cycle operation reduces the expected life of the pump. The units handle liquids at a minimum temperature of 40F (4C) and maximum of 140F (60C). Port size for the inlet and outlet is 3/8-inch NPTF.

Units can be powered by 12 and 24 V dc or 115 and 230 V ac. Typical applications for the pump include transfer, delivery, spraying, cooling, filtration, dispensing, and pressure boosting in industrial, floor care, agricultural and automotive service industries. Available in both demand and bypass models, certifications for the three chamber diaphragm design include UL, CE and NSF components.
