China's Job Loss

According to an online engineering resource, a recent U.S. study reports that China is losing more manufacturing jobs than the U.S. The study cites that between 1995 and 2002, China lost 15 million manufacturing jobs, compared with 2 million in the U.S.-a trend that can also be seen in many other countries in similar industries. The study also found that China's entire industrial sector is currently being restructured, which analysts say should lead to increases in productivity and an improvement in incomes.
