Increased Temperature Checks

We’re willing to guess that you’ve probably had your temperature taken more times in the last year than you’ve had in your life.  Temperature checks are currently the passkey for entry into some businesses and facilities that have remained open during the pandemic.  A high temperature is a common symptom of the respiratory virus.

The increased use of temperature scanners has led to the intense regulation of the devices. Last week, FDA issued warning letters to several companies for improper use of Thermal Imaging Systems to take temperatures.
