The DJI Neo Drone is reportedly one of the smallest drones available, offering many features for $200. Teardown site iFixit decided to take the device apart. What the reviewer found is that some of the torx screws are difficult to remove because of glue underneath. The bottom tray’s clips are easier to unlatch. Later on, the reviewer winds up desoldering some connections to access internal parts such as the motor, gimbal, and camera. Two of the parts, the brushless motor and camera, are separate but can only be calibrated together, thus complicating replacement.

The reviewer concluded that while the drone is a fun device, it might not be the best present for someone because of what he considers difficult repairability. You can watch the video here.
