Kenneth Wyatt is principal consultant of Wyatt Technical Services LLC as well as past senior technical editor for Interference Technology Magazine (2016 to 2018). He is based in Colorado and has worked in the field of EMC engineering for more than 30 years with a specialty in EMI troubleshooting and pre-compliance testing. He trains and speaks internationally and is widely published.
Wyatt has been an active participant at DesignCon for several years and has written or presented topics including EMC design for compliance, troubleshooting EMI issues, and pre-compliance testing. His specialty is EMI troubleshooting, according to his nominator, and is a co-author of the popular EMC Pocket Guide and RFI Pocket Guide. In 2014, he coauthored the book with Patrick André, EMI Troubleshooting Cookbook for Product Designers, with forward by Henry Ott. Most recently, he published the EMC Troubleshooting Trilogy: Creating Your Own EMC Troubleshooting Kit (Vol 1), Workbench Troubleshooting EMC Emissions (Vol 2), and Workbench Troubleshooting EMC Immunity (Vol 3). All are available on Amazon. He has been published in magazines such as, Signal Integrity Journal, RF Design, Test & Measurement World, EMC Design & Test, Electronic Design, EDN, InCompliance, Interference Technology, Microwave Journal, HP Journal, and several others. He authors "Practical EMC," hosted by Signal Integrity Journal; "The EMC Blog," hosted by EDN.com; manages the “EMC Troubleshooter’s” group on LinkedIn; and served as senior technical editor for Interference Technology Magazine from 2015 through 2018.
But the most important reason that Ken is deserving, according to his nominator, is he unselfishly willingness to share his knowledge and experience to make other engineers and businesses successful.
