Embedded systems are everywhere in electronics. From automobiles to appliances to robots, embedded systems are everywhere as they incorporate the specialized functions needed to operate products and equipment.

Not surprisingly, embedded systems engineers are in demand as companies increasingly required specialized expertise. This trend is likely to continue with the development of autonomous and electric vehicles, AI/machine learning systems, advanced medical systems, and 5G systems.

Where are these opportunities? According to career company Zippia, these 10 states, counting down to #1, currently present the best opportunities for embedded systems engineers. Information came from the Zippia survey, "Best States For An Embedded Systems Engineer To Live And Work In 2022."
