Is it time to brush up on your embedded software development tools? Design News is offering a free class that comes with IEEE credits. During the week of Dec 13 through 17, our Continuing Education Center (CEC) will present the class: Embedded Software Development Tools and Tec taught by popular CEC instructor, Jacob Beningo.

The class will meet for an hour Monday through Friday at 2:00 pm Eastern. Beningo will look at tools and techniques developers use to design and build their systems. These tools can make the difference between success and failure.

Beningo noted that staying up-to-date on embedded software technology is crucial when it comes to quality and cost. “The tools and techniques for embedded software are constantly evolving, so to stay relevant and beat out the competition, it’s critical to be up to date on the latest and greatest,” said Beningo. “In this course, we will explore a wide variety of development tools and techniques that will help attendees more efficiently design and build their next embedded product.”

Beningo is an embedded software consultant who currently works with clients in more than a dozen countries to dramatically transform their businesses by improving product quality, cost and time to market. He has published more than 300 articles on embedded software development techniques, has published several books, is a sought-after speaker and technical trainer. Beningo holds three degrees which include a Masters of Engineering from the University of Michigan.
