The Society for Information Display (SID) recently announced its 27th Annual Display Industry Awards (DIA) winners. The recipients of this award reflect the ever-evolving display product landscape. They also represent a wide range of technological advancements ranging from a state-of-the-art VR display to ultrathin durable glass, a high-performance touchscreen controller, leading-edge TV products, and innovative laptop/tablet.

The Display Industry Awards highlight innovations that have advanced the state-of-the-art display technology, with awards presented in three categories: Displays of the Year, Display Applications of the Year, and Display Components of the Year. The six winners, divided into three categories, were chosen by a panel of experts who evaluated the nominees based on the degree of technical innovation and commercial significance and the potential for positive social impact.
